I for one would have expected him to vote against this bill and START. It would not have prevented him from being reelected, it would have been in line with the rhetoric he uttered during his election campaign. We knew he wasn't going to be Jim DeMint, but he did not speak like Susan Collins, and he did not seem like someone who could be easily swayed by the liberal media.

It seems we were mistaken about him. He is simply a Mike Castle Republican. The seat will go back to the Democrats as a result. Conservatives, who are normally dispirited and inactive in a state like Massachusetts, will go back to being inactive, and he will lose big. His only chance was to be conservative, to offer an alternative viewpoint and defend it strenuously, and convince his state that he was right, or at least make them like him for his fervor. Then he had a chance.

Bye bye, Scott. We will get the Senate back without you.

Let’s us not forget that sarah palin supported John McCain.

I cannot come up with a single vote Brown has made in the Senate that stopped any of Obama’s insane bills.

And that cuts to the heart of the issue. I defended voting for Brown with the clear understanding that he was not going to be "Reagan lite", but come on, the guy appears as liberal as anybody and apparently can't even throw Conservatives a bone.

And McConnel knew the tax bill he just passed was unconstitutional as it is supposed to start in the house.

Jim DeMint and Michelle Bachmann are standing, basically, alone in their attempt to protect and defend this nation and our freedom.

He was one of only five Republicans who voted for the last jobs boondoggle, but generally votes responsibly on fiscal issues.

Not really. He was the key vote that helped pass the banking regulation bill. This was legislation he campaigned against.

His slobbering praise for John Kerry made my hair stand straight up.

Then he insinuates that his detractors are just short of booger-eating morons for getting information from blogs (I suppose the Boston Globe and New York Times would be considered much more responsible and reliable sources).

Didn't take long for the arrogance to reveal itself.

She also supported several conservatives, and has been blasting the libs and bambi and taking the flak for it while others sit on their thumbs in terror and hide. Your obsession with her “loyal return of favor” to McCain causes you to look blindly at everything else she does. Very unwise.

I disagree. They are indicative of WEAK LEADERSHIP. We need a Senate Majority Leader with some balls who will take these clowns to the woodshed.

Tell them to join the TEAM or expect nothing when they run for re-election. Deny them key posts. Make their lives miserable as part of the majority. If they start complying then throw them a bone. If they get mad and threaten to jump ship say 2 words “ARLEN SPECTER”. How did it work out for him? If Brown, Snowe, Collins, etc. think they stand a chance as Democrats let them go for it.

LEADERSHIP is the key.

DREAM Act. Had he voted for it, Howie Carr would never have voted for him.

A phony, indeed.

Lieberman fooled me in Conn.

Have not voted for any Democrat in 8 years, even voting for fringe candidate to avoid it.

No. The DREAM treason failed Senate cloture by 55-41. Had Brown voted for it, it still would have failed.

Brown voted for DADT repeal.

I guess he figures as a JAG officer the chances are pretty slim-to-none he’ll have to bunk with any gay enlisted scum.

Brown, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe must be exterminated even if Democrats take the seats

I know, Mark Kirk, Illinois, so called "republican" is brand new but he belongs on your list too.

He has a 10 year long record in the House to prove it too. He also voted queers in the military. It's only a matter of time before he "comes out of the closet" himself.

Yes, and by doing so she probably assured his victory.
