From CAIR’s press release:

Special recommendations for Muslim women who wear hijab:

* If you are selected for secondary screening after you go through the metal detector and it does not go off, and “sss” is not written on your boarding pass, ask the TSA officer if the reason you are being selected is because of your head scarf.

* In this situation, you may be asked to submit to a pat-down or to go through a full body scanner. If you are selected for the scanner, you may ask to go through a pat-down instead.

* Before you are patted down, you should remind the TSA officer that they are only supposed to pat down the area in question, in this scenario, your head and neck. They SHOULD NOT subject you to a full-body or partial-body pat-down.

I appreciate this response.

Now I'm wondering if anyone has anything official on this from the TSA or DHS; something in official government or agency directives.

I am out of the country where NONE of these shenanigans are going on at airports, and so I don't have the opportunity to observe for myself.

However, I am thinking of the future, and I am wondering, if CAIR can issue such instructions, and IF they are being heeded, and IF the TSA is actually honoring the rules laid down by the Muslims, then . . .

What is to say that such a compendium of Christian holiness and fundamentalist groups could not issue similar instructions and expect the TSA to honor Christian modesty as well.

We have compiled a list of:

Holiness, Mennonite, Amish, Independent Baptist, Other

. . . groups, that if they would, issue such instructions.

At present, I am fighting for some time in my own schedule to contact some well-known people within these groups about issuing a joint set of instructions for Christian women, and also submitting that to the TSA and DHS.

It does not help that so many professing Christians are so worldly and go through the TSA gropings and porno booths without a whimper. Those people about who we have read going through in bikinis and under-clothing would probably tell us that they are Christians, too.

The Christian testimony is not taken seriously by government agencies---too much compromise with Satan and the world's standards (or lack thereof) has gone on.

Nevertheless there are still millions of true Christian people who till believe in holiness of life, and separation from worldliness.

There are still millions of us who will not be photographed naked, even if it were for the eyes of only one official sitting at a monitor, and for no others. Of course, we believe that no matter what the government claims, those images will always be subject to be being passed along for insidious uses.

The same millions do not want to be groped in a public airport or any place else.

If Muslims women can get away with "NOT [being] subject . . . to a full-body or partial-body pat-down" then Christian women dressed with an obvious manner of holiness must be given the same courtesy. This includes (1) Catholic/Orthodox nuns, (2) any other ministers or sisters of any Christian sect that dress in full-cut and long apparel as per their exemplification of holy living, (3) women in obvious traditional apparel of the Mennonite, Amish, German Baptist, or other similar groupings, (4) Holiness and other Separatist Christians who wear full-cut and long clothing as a matter of their Separatist faith and convictions, (5) Any professing Christian who dresses modestly and decently because of their Christian standards of behavior.

It would help us to formulate some instructions for Christian women if we had in hand official directives, or documentation from TSA/DHS training sessions on how to treat Muslim women who are in hajib.

EXCELLENT.

Though . . . . for most people . . .

I really don’t think ‘naked’ is all it’s

uhhhh . . . cracked up to be.

Frightful comes to mind.

Any professing Christian who dresses modestly and decently because of their Christian standards of behavior.

There is no reason why modest Christian or Jewish women shouldn't be exempted the same way modest Muslim women are. It is an absolutely hypocritical policy if, in fact, Muslim women are given special treatment over and above other religions. If true, it should be legally challenged.

With Holder's Justice Department and the New Black Panther ruling, true justice under this administration has become questionable at best. When "justice" implies political protection of illegal aliens over the rights and sovereignty of US citizens and the USA itself, again we question the motives and agenda being forced upon us. The nation is seeing that some (Muslims and illegal aliens) are MUCH more equal than others.
