Repeal direct election of senators. Absolutely. The Founding Fathers had a reason for what they did and it made sense. Ever since the 17th amendment, the states have merely been quaint geographic divisions within the all powerful Central Government.

Put the power back in the hands of those closest to the people. Especially in the areas of foreign policy and defense, and the approval of judges and executive branch officials, over which the Senate has particular power and influence.
