I guess we lost the election.

America lost long before the recent election. This is just proof positive that elections mean nothing, that politicians will do whatever the heck they want to get their own advantage (AKA - line their own pockets and/or take a dump on the Constitution).

I guess we lost the election.

The American people lost the election by voting for the same RINOS who have brought our country down to wreck and ruin by allowing the Democrats to push them around like Mohamed Ali playing around with a college level boxer. I sent the following email to Sen Isakson, who I refuse to address as "my" Senator.

"I am very disappointed to learn that you appear to have have fallen into line behind the Obama bandwagon and now intend to vote for what I am convinced is the very dangerous START treaty. I believe that the great majority of GA's voting citizens oppose START, and many more would as well if they understood the ramifications of that treaty and the danger it poses to our own nation. In previous years I have voted for you in every primary and general election in which I was qualified to vote. However if you carry out your stated intention to vote for confirmation of what I consider to be a seriously flawed and disadvantageous treaty negotiated by an anti-national defense, inexperienced, inept, ultra-liberal president in order to appease his far-left anti-American voter base, I am saddened to say that I cannot continue to do so in future elections."

I have never trusted Isakson, but he seemed to have become more sensitive to his voters' desires in recent months. But now he stabs us in the back, and I should have known he would. If he runs again I will vote for his opponent in the primary, and if he's nominated I will either refrain from voting or vote for his opponent, depending on who that might be. I don't know how Chambliss intends to vote, but I will also disavow him if he votes for confirmation.
