Seriously, when was the last time anyone here showered with another soldier besides bootcamp?

Pohakula Training Area (PTA) on the Big Island of Hawaii had open bay showers.

So does every High school in the country.

Our poor kids are subjected to this all the time, but somehow this is going to be the Achilles heel of our great military.

Of course this is an unnecessary diversion to the readiness of our troops, but somehow I dont think it will have the impact that everyone seems to fear.

Army units make regular forays into the field for training ~ particularly live fire exercises.

The bathing facilities and barracks available for housing in those places are COMMUNAL and OPEN.

Then there are the training areas with NO FACILITIES ~
