The prospect of the GOP taking Ted Kennedy's seat would be exciting in any season, and in January it was a real morale-booster for conservatives at a time of Rat dominance. What Brown's RINO fail teaches us is that we need to vet our candidates more carefully to make sure that they're solid conservatives, and not give in to the emotion of the moment and the temptation to take a win, any kind of win, in a blue state.
