The Repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and Its Potential Impact on Religious Liberty

One issue that hasn’t been adequately addressed in the media is how the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell will impact the religious liberty of military chaplains (as well as soldiers) who believe that homosexuality is sinful? One glossed over result from the Pentagon study summary was this concern:

Now that homosexuality has the official sanction of the U.S. government, any criticism of homosexuality will be viewed as a hate crime and any attempt to keep homosexuality out of private institutions (even private religious schools and the Boy Scouts) will be sanctioned by the courts. Homosexual “equality” will be the stick with which Christians are beaten and free speech quashed. The persecution is just beginning.

Actually the Left is fine with this, because their goal is the breakdown of unit cohesion in the military. Repeal of DADT was just a tool to reach that objective.

This is a no brainer, homosexuals will be a protected class and those who do not celebrate it will have trouble with the Chain of Command. There is no duty in the military to "respect" acts that some soldiers find disordered. They should have left this alone, DADT was fine. Homosexuals can and have served their country with distinction but Pentagon PC crap is gonna have all kinds of unintended consequences.

The PC Pentagon types ignored the traitor bastard Hasan despite all kinds of red flags because of PC. The unintended consequence there was the slaughter at Hood.

Now I'm not comparing patriotic homosexuals to Hasan, I'm just pointing out that there are unintended consequences when the Pentago puts on it's PC Beret.

The Second Amendment to our Constitution permits the formation of well regulated militias. Perhaps now is the time to form one.

Varying views on abortion, religion, non-religion cannot seriously be considered the same as throwing in open homosexual’s and expecting it will somehow work itself out. Homosexuality is not an ideology and it’s not a race. If anything, it would be a disability and already covered under the law. By their own argument, this is how they are born. Equate that to a person born with one arm. Both are protected and both would not be eligible to serve in the military, IMHO. Works out the same way as don’t ask don’t tell.

The left and the feeble minded camp followers don’t care about religious liberty, they see it as optional.
That’s why they teach in school that the founders and the colonies were “dead oppressive white guys” and make no mention of religious freedom being one of the core ideas of our founding.
If they can erase that, then religious freedom doesn’t matter, and this same erasure method is used for other core liberties as well.
Second amendment?
Yup, slated for erasure as well.
Same with freedom fo speech.
If you don’t toe the politically accepted line you are labeled a racist-hatefilled-homophobe.
(Inversely, only muslims have religious freedom at the moment apparently...)

And what happens if the conservatives are right and that any advocacy of traditional doctrines by chaplains is labeled “hate speech,” with offenders either being punished or simply denied the ability to advance in rank?

As night follows day, this will most assuredly happen.

Homosexualism (the advancement of the homosexual lifestyle and credo) and Christianity cannot co-exist. The Left knows this. By advancing homosexualism in the military, the Left is at the same time dismantling Christianity and Christian values in the military. And they understand this well.

Homosexualism is the enemy of Christianity.

And therefore, I WILL FIGHT HOMOSEXUALISM WITH ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I HAVE!!

Muslims, even though Islam abhors homosexuality and kills its pratitioners, will be granted a special exemption because they also kill American soldiers.

This is just a works program for lawyers. Every time a homosexual gets passed over for promotion there will probably be a complaint filed. Promotions will then probably be biased TOWARDS towards to bypass the hassles.
Before this they had to earn same with their merits.
