I have a hard time figuring why the armament-practices of mailmen is relevant enough for you to bring up a half-dozen times. Why does it matter?

How do mailmen possibly survive without a gun and shooting dogs on a daily basis?
Who cares?
I see....So your suggesting it's OK for cops to open up with guns in neighborhoods full of people and kids, shooting the family dogs, but the mailman have no need to protect themselves in a similar manner?
How is it possible mailmen are able to protect themselves against dogs without shooting them?
How does that work Tex?
