Watching these overpaid babies fall on their butts might be entertaining. I may even watch a few minutes of this game.

Please... Nothing is happening in Minneapolis that doesn’t / won’t /can’t happen at any other outdoor venue this time of year, in similar climates in the bleeping NFL. Bunch of pansies.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't the player that's doing the most complaining a punter, for a team that plays indoors?
What a wuss...

The players are worried and angry about the possibility of injury at the University of Minnesotas football stadium Do the University of MN players whine like that??? How about the Green Bay Packers??? Is the whining coming just from the Vikings or the Bears, too? I'd be surprised if it weren't confined to the Vikings... er.. "Vikings."
Somewhere, these guys are shaking their heads in disgust...

There's a perfectly good venue available for an outdoor football game which will hold all of the ticket holders. It was designed expressly for the purpose.
It's called "Soldier Field".

I’m down in White Bear today. Haven’t looked out the window for a while. I’ll take your word (verified by the radar) for it.

Please... Nothing is happening in Minneapolis that doesnt / wont /cant happen at any other outdoor venue this time of year, in similar climates in the bleeping NFL. That's not true - outdoor deep-cold stadiums such as Lambeau and Soldier Field have heating systems in the turf. Ever hear of the Ice Bowl? It's when that system failed at Lambeau.
And the players have a point - the NFL is cracking down on hits to the head, but apparently aren't concerned about a player falling on his head onto a hard field.

Two words. Ice Bowl. When football was played by men. Ice Bowl was when the turf heating system failed.
And it was the last game of the season so players had plenty of time to recover.

It is funny. When I was a kid we would shovel the snow off the lake so we could play football on it. What a blast. We also play in parking lots or anyplace else we could. And for free. It is odd seeing overpaid prima-donnas play a once great game.

That is a point. They did not include turf heaters to save money when they built this stadium.

This kind of tripe is the result of the demasculation and the feminizing of men that has gone on over the last 30 years.

When football was played by men.True. But football played by women looks interesting. I'm waiting for it to come to a venue near me. :-)
And no, I don't think that Mrs. WBill will be invited.

The bitter cold overwhelmed Lambeau's new turf heating system, leaving the playing surface hard as a rock and nearly as smooth as ice.
