I was thinking the same thing. I’ve been a Treasurer a few times (not of a PAC) and never had a dedicated computer for it. I always used my own and provided backups every month to the other officers of the organization. We had only one licensed copy of the Treasurer’s software, but in an emergency, another officer could install it on their computer install the data from my backups and be up and running in a couple of hours had anything happened to me.

Speaking of backups. There’s that Internet cloud backup the treasurer could possibly use. The one Rush advertises.

One last thing for the night. Maybe we should look at a few PACs about how they run their operations. An informal case study.
