Here's the thing though, that comprimising on good principles has brought America to the precipice of ruin. Even as resilient as America may be, it cannot continue as a vehicle for human liberty if it it's leaders steer it in a direction that wholly contradicts reality.

America must stop spending and that means cutting social programs which will piss off liberal and moderate Republicans to some degree. America must control its borders which will piss off more socially liberal Republicans.

It's time for conservatives to teach the others in the tent what must be done instead of compromising in lieu of an economic and demographic timebomb that's about to go off.
