I was thinking the same thing. However, other PACs can donate to us. We don’t have to depend on FReeper donations.

Besides being a monthly donor to FR, I also donate directly to political candidates of my choice. If FReeper PAC was targeting my top five choices, I donate to FReeper PAC instead. I suspect others would do the same.

Thoughts?

Ugh. If ... were, not if ... was.

But then that becomes a zero-sum game.

What FR adds to the national scene is it's unique news aggregation, but not for the moneyed elites with a "man in Washington." That's where PACs have leverage.

FR is Drudge Report but with comments.

If that base could be turned into an influential PAC money machine, then Freepathons would already only last minutes, not weeks.
