Anti-Israel messages are once again about to hit the streets in the U.S., this time on buses in Seattle.
According to a report on Seattle’s KING5 TV which aired on Friday, a group calling itself the Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign has paid Seattle’s King County $1,794 so that twelve buses will carry an ad reading “Israeli War Crimes: Your tax dollars at work” with an image of a group of children next to it, showing one little boy staring out at the viewer while the others gawk at a demolished building.
The ad is expected to hit Seattle’s buses on December 27, a date not chosen by accident as it is the second anniversary of the beginning of Operation Cast Lead, the IDF’s operation in Gaza which was aimed at stopping the daily rocket attacks by Gaza-based terrorists towards southern Israel.

Ha! Just try to find any bus/billboard that would carry "Muslim terrorism, your open border at work" or some such. No-one in the deluded PC crowd would touch it.
Yes it is (the business behind is now a capitalist Taco Del Mar), but that's not even half the story. Skipping over how it got to where it is (I'm sure that part's online) is how the locals treat it (and that's not online).
I'm not out there very often, mainly because I hate going into Seattle at all (though there's a terrific music instrument store and a great Greek restaurant in this district) but the locals aren't exactly treating it with reverence. One visit there were a pair of yellow rubber duckies on the statue -- on at its feet, the other on the cap brim. Another had months-old now-brown garlands festooning the cap.
There's a bit of history behind and presented in that statue (the "stuff" to his left symbolize flames and/or guns). It speaks a lot about the Soviet Union, and IMHO should be preserved in a museum somewhere. Maybe alongside some exhibits of the Third Reich.

The ads were paid for by the ‘Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign’, an obviously leftist organization. Why can’t a conservative group do the same? I find such ad more effective than contributing to the GOP where RINOs also benefit from the money.

That is exactly what I wish some jewish organization would do, just to expose the hypocrisy of Seattle.
Suppose I wanted to put 12 ads on these same buses pointing out that HAMAS and the PA are murdering Israeli civilians while receiving US tax dollars?

When I was in Vietnam, I stayed in a craphole city known as Bac Lieu, in the Mekong Delta. I was tempted to paint a big bullseye on the hotel with a message to the VC, “Bomb here”.
Urban renewal can be done, you know, but in order to get rid of the red rats and druggies in Seattle and Portland, you’re gonna need a bigger bomb, something that really cleans house.
Just “California Dreaming” I guess. As for California, it’s gonna take a lot of nukes to clean out that cesspool, or maybe one really bigassed quake.
America is being destroyed form within and almost no one is doing anything about it - certainly not the politicians (esp. the Democrats); the intellectually corrupt liberal media; academics who hate America; clergymen who think that the US is an evil place; and Hollyweird poseurs who think that they know everything, when in fact they know almost nothing.
November 2012 must be not just a Tea Party, but the biggest political tsunami ever seen. Get rid of the remaining RINOS, the reds, weirdos, crooks, and demented (which would clean out most of the Democrat Party, wouldn’t it ?).
One can dream, or one can work to make this possible.
The choice is ours to make. Like the Minutemen, we have to take up political arms and defeat/destroy the enemy at the polls before they destroy our country.

I was on an airline flight with a youngish liberal married Jewish woman who was very sweet, new age-y and from Seattle. NYC transplant. I am sure she voted for Hussein. I wonder if she or her husband realize where their liberalism may lead or really is leading America to.
