"If you want an insider's view of Steele's ineptitude, read Gentry Collins' resignation letter. He points out that fundraising from big donors is down. The "ground game" that depends on these funds was thus ineffective. Collins estimates that 2 US senate races, 4 Gov races and 20+ House races would have been more competitive with the strategy in place.
