Seek experience with God and you will KNOW without having to believe.

I've already done so. I asked Christ to be my savior (I was quite sincere at the time, let me assure you) when I was in Sunday School...and yet I felt nothing. I certainly didn't receive any divine KNOWledge as a result.

You asked but you did not surrender, absolutely.

Experience with God can take many forms, not only prayer.

For me, I spent many years denying and blocking God from my life.

When I learned he was right there the whole time, I was a little embarrassed and more than happy to know that God cared.

Now I can know and feel God most when I am quiet, unassuming, listening...most often meditating or in a 12-step program meeting.

I am grateful that my problems with addiction can be relieved on a daily basis when I experience God on a daily basis.
