I agree that gays should be banned from military service. Sodomites create distrust and demoralization. They are generally very sad and confused people. Their lifestyle is clearly psychologically and spiritually perverted and sick, not to mention forbidden in God's Word for good reason. This is a disease-spreading lifestyle that historically signals the death knell of a society.

We need troops (and an America) that have tough, courageous, and right-thinking men just like we need an America with real femininity in its women (not the butch kind).

General statement about gays here: this is not to confuse the condemnation and forbidding of their lifestyle openly in society with the people themselves who Jesus died for. I know queers and some of them are nice people. I'm not here to condemn anybody. But their perverted and sick lifestyle should not be tolerated (openly at least) in or out of the military. I'm not for sex police or whatever. It's a society thing - society should simply not tolerate open "gay" (really very sad) lifestyles.

You and I may be the only one who supports the pre-1993 ban. Judging from the general commentary on FR, most people want wink at it and pretend it doesn’t exist. The country has moved on beyond it.
