I wonder if America needs a Pinochet to straighten things out?

The world's greatest intellectual, Thomas Sowell, Ph.d, warned that there may come a day when the American military just won't take it anymore.

I sometimes pray that we would have a Pinochet (see my tagline below) come along as long as the goal is the restoration of the Constitution after a short period of cleaning house. I'm a big fan of the "Ashes" series by William Johnstone where a general goes around and cleaning up the U.S. from the thugs and political correctness after an atomic war with the USSR/Russia, we might need to do this.

BTW, another author would have agreed with Thomas Sowell, Robert A. Heinlein. That was the premise of the book, "Starship Troopers" where in the future, the political correctness has almost killed us so the military and veterans rose up and took over. The society was quite libertarian but you could not vote unless you served a term in the military. He wrote this in 1959, the parallels to our world is striking, the PC movement, gangs of thugs in the streets, welfare bums and a war with Red China. Well not yet for the latter but it could happen.

Let’s not lose it. We don’t need a military dictatorship and the chances of getting a Pinochet are one in a million. Take a look at history.

Without the USA and the Chicago Boys Chile would be as backwards as any other tinpot dictatorship.

We just won big in the House. Next target is the Senate and the WH in that order.

Pass the word.
