Soon to be “Former” Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass). He will be a one termer with only three years in office. He must stand for reelection in two years. He has fully declared himself as a RIMO of the first order. I would suggest that he will lose at least 25% of his base with this vote and his other positions. Massachusetts has never been allowed to vote on the gay marriage issue. The Judges (5 to 4) rammed it down the people throats and the lib legislators, which Brown was part of, refused to allow it to be put on a state wide referendum ballot. Bye Bye Brownee in 2012.

Brown is doing what he believes he needs to do to get reelected. Voting "Yes" may work against him in the Republican primary but he's obviously calculated that it will cause him less trouble than voting "No" on this issue would in the main election, and I suspect he's right.

So the solution is to bring in a Democrat instead of this RINO? A true conservative isn’t going to win in Massachusetts.
