“I don’t support openly gay people serving in the military.”

Your words “openly gay people” serving in the military.

What exactly is “openly gay people”?

Why cant you say the following: “I do not support any homosexuals in the military period.”

You say by your words..”openly gay people”.. this leaves the door open for homosexuals to serve as long as they are not “openly gay”.

The current debate is regarding DADT. That’s why I chose those words. If someone is a closet homosexual and chooses to serve in the military, there’s nothing I can do about it. How could I support someone I don’t know is gay.

I don’t support homosexuals in the military, period!

There. Did that make you happy? I doubt it. You’re bringing your birther-related dislike of me to an unrelated thread. Why don’t you knock it off and try to see the bigger picture? We’re here to defend conservatism.

Anyone who uses the word “gay” is immediately suspect.
