Was that this year?

Nope, a couple of years back.

My dad is out there this year without me, the old codger.

I'm hunting around here locally this year, haven't seen anything worth shooting.

There's a nice doe that moves through the neighbor's yard
across the road and into the south woods every morning at dawn
that I've been watching. I'm thinking of taking down the top wire
on the south fence and putting out some corn. Pop her out the kitchen window.

I may cross the river and take one of the "King's Pigs".

He don't need 'em, he's a Muslim.

(Federal land.. don't tell anybody.)

We are having a big wild pig issue up here this year. No time for deer but almost everyone with some land between Gilmer and Texarkana are welcoming anyone in to take out the wild pigs.. unfortunately most taste awful, especially the older ones.
