Re-reading the comment, I see that the emphasis might well have been intended to be on a condemnation of their actions (fair enough) and not on the issue of their humanity. If I misread that, my apologies; it was not my intention to deceive.
Assuming this to be true though, you may also wish to consider that not all homosexuals behave like barnyard animals. The truth is that too many do just that, egged on by the worst and most perverse influences among them. But there are many others who choose differently, for reasons of health and yes, morality.
You might google "Folsom Street fair" if you are not convinced. These "fairs" not only include the "performers" but many, many who are there as an "audience".
