Yes they do realize it. It’s quite deliberate.
Any furtherance of this discussion here will result in a thread hijacking.
This thread has a purpose.
Semper Fi. The Marine and Army Generals were totally against this repeal.
HG, please put me on the FRPac ping list.
> “I predicted on another thread, that he will come out of the closet, switch parties, and run as a dem-o-rat.”
.
He’s been a wishy-washy Republican all his political life.
All the “Republicans” we’ve ever had in New England have been basically just like him.
He's worse than a RINO!
Traitor!
He has to go!
I’ve added a couple of keywords to the top of the latest posts pages for FReeperPAC and RINOFreeAmerica:

We actually got started on this last year, but they didn’t get off the ground. Hope we can get it going for real now.
I rooted for him only so that Kennedy’s old seat would have an “r” sitting in it, for awhile. Snowe and Collins are really dims, also.
I hear ya, FRiend. Our son (Marines) served in Desert Storm and got out during the Clinton years. He’s on a cruise right now with his family so he may not have seen this abomination. I wouldn’t want to be in the same romm when he does hear about it.
May God bless your grandson.
I think the correct solution was DADT for EVERYONE. What place has sexual orientation when you’re job is to kill the enemy?
Everyone keep it in your pants and to yourselves. Sheesh!
Jim, I stand with you.......now we have to pray for our troops. God help them.
Yes!
It is time to draw a real line in the sand.
I was looking for inspiration and a touchstone to Ronald Reagan and found this link.
Snip.
“The answer is clear. Heed the words of Ronald Reagan: Raise a banner of bold colors, not pale pastels. Do not compromise our principles in the mistaken belief that we will be rewarded at the ballot box. On the contrary, that would put the Republican Party on the road to oblivion.”

I DKDC, personally.
DADT was for everyone. It was a compromise non-solution. The correct solution was put in place years ago by our fighting men: No queers in the service! Period! It’s always worked well for us. This liberal b/s is going to be nothing but one big clusterfluck.
That thread in Feb 09 got a lot of interest
In my day, there was a clear, no-"nices" point of view:
"The only good commie is a dead commie!"
By default this specified that:
"The only good marxist is a dead marxist!"
Nothing has changed...It still holds true...There are other enemies of this Nation who need to be viewed in the same way...
Getting awful close to the time when making "good" commies (including marxists of all the other persuasions) will be an absolute necessity for the survival reestablishment of this Nation...IMHO
Well Jim, even though I’ve always been one of the more pragmatic voices on FR, making me seem more “moderate” than most here, I sure am a constitutional conservative. So, not that it matters since this is your website to do with as you please, but this is one time I wholeheartedly agree with you. There aren’t words enough to describe how sick I am of every crowd with a real or assumed grievance forcing their demands down our throats. Demands, mind you, that usually involve special privileges and government hand outs.
DADT was for everyone. It was a compromise non-solution. The correct solution was put in place years ago by our fighting men: No queers in the service! Period! Its always worked well for us.You would think that repealing DADT would just mean reverting back to that policy.
I guess they must have put in some language that ok'd the homos being in along with the repeal of don't ask, instead of back to not letting them in and throwing throw them out if they slipped by and got in.
Preachin to the choir, Jim.
