For starters, just think how many hundreds of billions the Obama administration is pumping into ethanol, wind and solar - not to mention the fortunes poured down the drain subsidizing Obama-Electro-Kars. Not to mention the research grants handed out to supporters of the administration's agenda.
Fortunes are being made from this wealth redistribution and a sizable chunk of that is being fed back to politicians in the form of contributions to PACs and re-election funds.
None of that will be ended without a vicious fight and significant political change.

One of the many paradoxes of Marxism is Marxists can't support themselves in their pursuit of the Workers Paradise utopia. They must scam Capitalists into supporting them. Either that or employ crooked capitalism ala George Soros to scam money by destroying countries.
