The destroyed tea was from China, not India.
The destroyed tea was of a so-called “Bohea” type, which was used for the black tea grown in Mountains in Fujian Province, China.

I don’t think so. Most of the Dems in Congress are now from hyper-liberal, gerrymandered districts and it served both them and Obama perfectly for them to appear to put up a fight—but in the end to give Obama his bill.

All the Dems’ political backs got scratched by the last couple of weeks of political theater. Obie again gets to mask himself in the center for an election and those from the liberal-most districts lost nothing by helping to position himself there.
