Ya know, something that I haven't seen touched upon here that people really ought to contemplate.

At least a few of Lakin’s “reasons” for doing what he did were just that, Internet Myths.

From where I sit, those who repeat these myths are morally culpable to at least a small degree when this kind of thing happens.

A person really ought to take responsibility for themselves to have made a reasonable and rational effort to investigate and understand things before they repeat them of make the claim.
