Senator-Elect Pat Toomey has just issued a statement supporting repeal of Dont Ask/Dont Tell.
As Ive said previously, my highest priority is to have the policy that best enables our armed services to do their job, Senator-Elect Toomey said. Our civilian and professional military leadership have now spoken and said we should repeal Dont Ask Dont Tell. I would support a free-standing measure to do so.
If Majority Leader Reid keeps his word, the freestanding repeal measure passed by the House yesterday will be voted on in the Senate in the lame duck, before Sen.-Elect Toomey is seated. Still, the support of a credible conservative like Toomey is a sure sign that repeal is likely to pass.

“Fragging” someone just took on a-HOLE new meaning!
They are unable to think things through to their logical end. They ride an emotional high of “fairness” by which they invite chaos and degradation of society. Civilized Society needs boundaries to survive, as soon as you set a boundary, by definition, some group of people are going to be outside that boundary. By trying to be “fair” to everyone you remove all boundaries and therefore invite chaos.
Fools!
And you think it won’t?
The country is burning to the ground and all our esteemed leaders are concerned about are the feelings of guys who enjoy butt-sex with other guys
Put all the queers in the same unit, send them to the fiercest fighting, repeat as necessary.
“In the rear with the gear” soon will have a whole new meaning.
When I first read this, I forgot that he can’t even vote until January. Why is there a need to even say this? Before today, I would have been blasted to he!! for saying this, but I believe that he is a little light in the loafers and I am serious. He definitely doesn’t seem 100 percent hetro for sure. I did vote for him of course because of his conservative views or what I thought were conservative views.
This scumbag Toomey has just lost me.
I want to throw up.
WTF
I guess Mitch Daniels call to just give up on social issues had merit to Republicans. Screw conservative people.
Funny how quickly they forgot THIS lesson from Massachusetts...
New Mass. Republican Party Chairman says party will no longer oppose same-sex “marriage”, abortion, other “social issues”

Mass. Republicans lose ALL statewide & Congressional races

This is truly disappointing.
How much freaking money did I send his campaign again?
While they wave the white flag, the dems are shoving this social crap up our collective rear ends..........is anyone surprised?
It’s six years before he pays.
Question: How long would I remain employed if I constantly harped about being an "open heterosexual" and discussed how often I did it, with whom and with what specific methods of mating?
I give up. It’s time to replace the Republican Party.
We need to “Versailles” Washington!!
And so it begins
Someone remind me again why there shouldn’t be a movement for the creation of a viable, conservative third-party.
I know, I know. We don’t want to fracture the conservative vote and hand an election to the liberals, blah, blah, blah. But it’s becoming all too clear that voting for the GOP is about the same as voting for DemocRATS, just a more deceptive, less-fearless version of them.
To make matters worse, Toomey is a liar. Both the Marine and Army commanding generals said at congressional hearings that they DO NOT support repeal. Wow... and I enthusiastically voted for this homo-pandering Toomey. Never again.
