Why not just Harry and Nancy to pass some legislation requiring private companies to hire people? If they can require private citizens to buy insurance, why not require companies to hire people? I really don’t see a difference. One forces a private entity to buy insurance; the other would force a private entity to buy labor.

if congress can pass a law forcing every AMerican to buy insurance, then what is going to stop them from passing a law forcing companies to hire more people and ordering them to pay those people a certain wage and benefits?
