I doubt it, they are going to get a nice plea agreement for him to go away quietly and possibly keep his retirement or stay out of jail. You don’t sentence a Lt Col with an MD to twenty years, it just doesn’t happen.

What? They're currently in sentencing right NOW. The time for plea agreements is over. Isn't it?

You dont sentence a Lt Col with an MD to twenty years, it just doesnt happen. I believe that the maximum sentence Lakin is on the hook for is three and a half years. That and being cashiered and losing his pension. I don't know how much jail time he'll actually get but I'm sure there will be some. The cashiering and loss of pension is a given.
