Sad to say but I fear you’re quite correct. I have never seen such a total lack of testicular fortitude as what we’ve seen from those in office who are charged with oversight of what goes on in this country.

I have been convinced for several years now that the only way out will the total collapse of our way of life. And the truly sad part of it is that it didn’t have to come to that. Our Founding Fathers gave us more than enough ways to prevent the madness we are seeing in Washington these days. What they couldn’t give us were the elected officials with an ability to deny themselves the spoils of a public life and work for the good of the country.

Tyranny is simple. All it takes is the following:

1) Audacity

2) Politicians, a media, courts, law enforcement, and a military that will do nothing.
