Actually, that is a very good idea. The colder weather limits growing seasons and reduces crop yields.
Higher CO2 levels will not have an impact on the global temperature, solar output from the sun dominates global climates we are now finding out, but it can stimulate plant growth enough to offset some of the negative effects of the shorter, colder growing season on crop yields.
CO2 emissions are our friend, assuming we wish to prevent wide spread famine due to the reduced agricultural output from the colder, shorter growing seasons.
LOL. Seriously, even if all the lefty nutters did an about-face and decided that that we’re in for man-made global cooling instead of warming, some politician would just find a way to use it as another excuse for more regulation (and a money-making scam). Everything is an excuse to enact more regulation, for politicians (and that includes many on the “right”, these days). They wouldn’t have an excuse to get paid if they just did what they’re supposed to-defend the country and protect our borders-and not a single other thing. But oh how wonderful life could be if they just left us the heck ALONE.
If this forecast is accurate, we will need every barrel of oil we can get just to keep warm. Keep working on higher milage cars, PLEASE!!!
