Americans are a good bit more ornery than Europeans and way better armed. You’re letting you’re fears take control of you.Wars, rumors of wars, Genghis Khan, Indian attacks, King George lopping off heads, Pol pot, Hitler, tyrants and maurauders through every age in history. This IS life as usual. If we played by your rules, no kids till it’s safe, the human race would have died out years ago. The end of times will happen on the Lord’s time. Not when a handfull of people like yourself say so. No one around here will be changing their tune. Children aren’t children forever. Today’s children are tomorrows leaders and clergyman and parents. The world has never been safe. It’s always been what you make of it. If you want to be a surrender monkey and throw in the towel go right ahead. Meanwhile the rest of us will be doing something useful.You’re agenda is just you acting out over your own childhood, it has nothing to do with the rest of the world. How horrible if you spend your whole life doing this, looking for terrible news items to prove you’re fears, instead of living and loving.
