I wouldn’t put it past the unions to coerce voters, but don’t they have secret voting for write-ins?

The law is clear, and Sen. Murkowski knew the law all along. That is why she made such a huge issue about the spelling of her name in her campaign and why her ads showed exactly how to vote for her. She knew every write-in had to be in compliance with the rules in order to be counted.
Many Alaskans were irritated by the ads and began mocking her in articles by deliberately misspelling her name. It makes me wonder if some of the incorrect spellings on the ballots were deliberate and done so in mockery.
Consequently, there is no sure way to determine the voters intent.
