He’s been a huge winner.

Won NJ governorship. Won a senate seat in Mass.

Who thought that was possible just months after Kennedy died?

Won the House against overwhelming numbers just 2 years prior.

Doesn’t matter how or why. He got Republicans elected.

Big shoes to fill.

Common sense and facts don't count. Emotions rule.

All that happened in spite of steele - not through any actions on his part.

I wouldn’t go and give him that much credit because Scott Brown is one of those “Blue State” Republicans much like Snowe and Collins are. And for the record, the “Blue Staters” on here that I have interacted with in the past are far more conservative than Brown, Collins, and Snowe.

Many people in MA were fed up with Fat Ted, the “dynasty” and were put off by the sense of entitlement that the democrats had over Sir Osis of Liver’s seat.

As far as winning the House, I’m guessing that you are referring to this past election which the results really had nothing to do with the RNC or Steele’s actions. In fact in many races there were true conservatives who were denied support by the RNC in favor of wishy-washy RINO’s.

Case in point, NY26 (special election that happened in 2009 IIRC) where the RNC supported candidate lost the primary to a conservative. In the end the “jilted” candidate turned around and supported the democrat. Almost the same scenario happened in Delaware and Alaska in the Senate races.

Then there is the RNC’s support for flip-floppin’ juan mclame who went out of his way to throw the 2008 election. Then in the midterm juan ran to the right of his challenger and then once re-elected went right back to supporting amnesty like the good little bootlicking RINO that he is.

We could very well have a bigger majority in the House as well as control of the Senate if it wasn’t for the backstabbing by Steele and the RNC.

Michael Steele has a good victory record. In this environment, no one is going to be “good enough”. I feel sorry for whoever takes the job.

You forgot to close your sarcasm tag. You can either do it with this at the end of your post:

< /sarcasm>

Or use the abbreviated form:

< /s>

Either way is acceptable.

If you were serious then:

Bartender! I’ll have two of what Owen is having!

Tell me you're kidding.

The RNC did nothing for Scott Brown.
