Good on you, dear pillut48! You do precisely what you think is right. You watch both shows, whilst I and others do not. I haven’t watched one episode of Kate without Jon and the children.

Thanks! I’m not saying Kate is perfect, by any means, she’s not, none of us are. But she’s getting a raw deal from an episode that’s been edited quite a bit to fit into an hour format—yes, she was whiny and seemingly rude to the Palins at the campground, but what about the rest of the episode? None of that counts? I’m skittish about guns too, and I was really surprised to see Kate say yes to shooting that rifle...wish she’d tried harder at the campsite, but she was a first time camper and things *were* bad for a beginner to have to deal with...not sure what TLC was thinking editing things the way they did, maybe trying to get out of their contract with Kate and the kids? Not sure.
