If I ever consent to having a dog again, I would like to again have a PM Corgi. Their temperment and character is superior to any other breed I have ever spent time around.
I must add a word of caution to others reading this — they shed their fur. THEY REALLY REALLY REALLY SHED. LOTS. ALL YEAR. EVERYWHERE.
My sister finally came and got her 300lb English Mastiff I’d been ‘babysitting’ a few years. Add 1/2 lb slobber per day hurled over every surface on TOP of the non-stop shedding. Great dog, I miss him already.
I’ve ran, hunted, swam, everything with just about every breed except a Corgi and I’ve noticed a number of them catching my eye lately. The qualities that allure me are: independent, self-secure, noble, behaved, intelligent, assessing. Which ones am I missing? I’ve never had a small dog before but this is looking like the one.
