Here are some photos of our yard after last night's storm. We got about a foot or so of snow. Perhaps 15 when it's all done. The winds up have gusts to and sometimes exceeding 50 miles an hour today. Post your photos and stories. Luckily no trees fell on wires or our house! And we didn't lose power.

We’re in Washington county. Town of Barton, north of West Bend.
Beautiful pics but glad I’m here. :-)
Lots of rain here in SW WA but no snow.
Merry Christmas to you all!
My daughter and hubby are being transferred to Ft. Lewis when he’s back from Afghanistan. Probably the spring sometime.

Yeap, we had one heck of an ice storm in 1976. Three inches of ice covered everything. No electricity for 5 days.
Here in south bend Indiana we have about 6 inches and its still coming down windier than hell, going out for a hockey game tonight and have to drive to chicago for work tomorrow. Not looking forward to it at all.
Cool pix! Thanks for sharing these. Just think how bad this would have been had we not had global warming...hahah
One inch of snow, blown to smithereens.
Ft. Lewis and the area is nice, I think they’ll like it. Wasn’t your daughter stationed there once before? I
Did you just take that video? It worked for me. The sun is trying to poke out now.
I’m here. Major computer crash and I’m strugglin through a new set up.
We got a couple inches of snow with more coming. The wind is starting to pick up and that’s gonna suck.
They had orders for there once, but that was changed and they went to Ft. Campbell, Ky instead. That’s were they are right now. This could all change.
Yup, that was about an hour ago.
There sure is nothing quite like the sound of a world covered in new-fallen snow. So quiet, yet, as you say, the smallest sounds you can hear are so distinct.
You need to do something about those weeds.
Out in the Coachella Valley, it’s 81 right now....and the snowbirds from the northern tier are absolutely giddy today.
Thanks for the pictures Stay warm...
Its pretty nice in Central TX today...
The mother of all blizzards was in Chicago 1967. 45 inches of snow fell in 36 hours. It started snowing on Thursday afternoon and did not quit until Friday night. The city came to a standstill for several days. People were stuck at work, on hi-ways for 2 days! My trusty Corvair Monza made the 5 mile trek home but then was unmovable for a entire week until the city plows finally cleared my street. The main roads in the city were drivable on Saturday but city buses were the only vehicles operating there. My wife and I had to walk a mile and half to the grocery store, and I still recall how heavy those bags felt during that walk. Snow drifts were to the ceilings on most 1 story homes.
Wow, you could be stuck there for years!
Global climate change, at work. Next thing you know, it will rain, then it might be windy, get hot, and before you know it, snow all over again.
It’s like we have 4 series of weather crisis per year?! Oh the huge manatee...
