Looks pretty.
No blizzard here.
It wouldn’t have been as bad, but we got about an inch of rain before it turned into this mess. The snow just glued onto everything.
Those pictures are stunning and beautiful! Here in Michigan we are getting lots of snow, and with the fireplace burning, and the view outside, I am so content at its magnificence.
Stay safe everyone and keep warm.
Your home is just beautiful. Stay warm. The snow makes everything look so clean and quiet. So far, your pine trees look like they have done well. We always get a lot of breakage.
I slept until 3 am, hubby came to bed, I got up. We were keeping watch.
I think the snow in my back yard is about two feet, if not more. This is on top of the five inches that we got last week. My very kind neighbors always scrape out my driveway with their blade and I am very grateful. I do the clean up and put down some salt. It was a lot of snow! I am in western Wis.
It’s been snowing all day in Michigan and now it’s starting to blow. I’m glad to be hunkered down inside with pumpkin bread in the oven, which is starting to smell wonderful right now!
The Blaze has posted a video of the Metrodome collapse: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/update-new-time-lapse-video-shows-snow-collapse-of-minneapolis-metrodome/
I’m north of West Bend, south of Kewaskum. All the media was in West Bend because the storm didn’t hit Milwaukee for a juicy story.
Wow! On brighter side, it looks like you can get to your dish :)
Second reason why we left Wisconsin.
First Reason: Liberal Socialists run the place!!
We're not having blizzards, but it is cool. Probably won't break 70 degrees today.
Hey gorush! We were expecting the same here but only got a dusting, most of which blew away. I think about you everyweek. I drive out to Sparta and back and usually stop for a rest break at the Mauston Pilot. Have a Merry Christmas.

Your photographs (thank you for posting them) are beautiful; what a great place to live. We are on a 4-lane major highway, and when I say on, I mean that almost literally ... :)
I’d give a lot to have that snow. I’m watering—in the middle of December in Colorado—trying to keep my trees, shrubs, and plants alive.
Our pines rarely loose anything, except tons of pine cones. This is the first time in 16 years we’ve had this much tree damage. It was really eerry last night. You could hear branches breaking all night. There is a fairly large woods next to our property. All night, snap, crash, snap, crash. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. Thank God no real damage.
We’re out in the hills now among the quad cities of Elroy, Hillsboro, Union Center and Kendall, all about 7 miles away.
We about 100 miles north of O’hare. What a difference.
