December 12th 2010 Blizzard Photos from Wisconsin

Here are some photos of our yard after last night's storm. We got about a foot or so of snow. Perhaps 15 when it's all done. The winds up have gusts to and sometimes exceeding 50 miles an hour today. Post your photos and stories. Luckily no trees fell on wires or our house! And we didn't lose power.

Las Vegas high today to be 70 degrees, no wind blue skies, visibility 40 miles. Forget that snow, after 40 years in Montana this is the promised land. Hoorah for cut offs.

LOL...These people with the, "Oh, we love the snow, ain't it beautiful" comments" ain't fooling anyone...lol..

Snow and cold are flat out miserable...Been there done that in the military.

It's 76 degrees in So. California, mild Pacific breeze, really clear skies, sunny with no clouds...Visibility must be 160 miles.... The wife was planting flowers today (Lantana)...

Are you watching the Bears game perchance? It’s pretty tough to view. My husband just took a walk out of the room. :)

I’ve got a buddy in Campbellsport I haven’t talked to in awhile. I think I’ll give him a call.

I drove through Tenn/Ken and Cairo, Il area 2 months after the ice storm. MILES and MILES and MILES of what looked like bombs going off, blowing the tops of trees off from 35’ up. PILES of branches and trees ALL OVER.

That’s the exact area I was in. I was heading to Ft. Campbell. It looked like a war zone. It was early April. We missed the I-24 turnoff and went right through Cairo and over to Paducah.

Gassed up the snow blower and generator today. A little blizzard isn't a big deal for a few days. If it lasts a week I may have to consider it a storm.

So far nothing much happening here a little north of Grand Rapids.

In 78 we had a couple of big snows. My next door neighbor and I were shoveling snow off of roofs.

They had nowhere to put the snow from his drive except by our house. We could climb right off the snow pile right onto the roof of my house. We'd jump off the peak of the front of the house into the virgin snow. The peak was 13', snow about 4'.

That was before Gorebull Warming.
