However, a large percentage of workers will defend their antiquated jobs. And they vote. A politicians will delay progress( see Detroit unions ) for votes. Nothing new there. It even happened before unions. The old carriage industry, blacksmiths and the buggy whip manufactures sure didn't much care for that damn Henry Ford, but in the end, the better product will win.
