Inescapable truth:
Demography is destiny.
I admire your pluck and determination (your moniker implies that [like me] you are older), but even though Texas remains staunchly conservative _today_, it is destined to become less so in the future.
It will be twenty years before all those newborns of illegals become voters. But someday they WILL become exactly that. And one thing I can assure you is that when they do, they will NOT “vote like you”.
South and West Texas will probably become a part of “emerging Atzlan”. Perhaps the best chance for the rest of the state may be to divide and cordon off the growing Mestizo population into their own area.

There’s an old saying (may be attributed or mis-attributed to Trotsky) that “you may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.”
To paraphrase, Texas (and old Texans) may not be interested in the illegals, but illegals are interested in Texas!

This epic invasion left the borders of California, and the southwest 20 years ago...It's now coast to coast and getting worse by the day...Just look at Parkland in Dallas....

Life is not all about race. Generalities about race do not accurately describe what is in the hearts of men. (or women).
Observation: Black (self-described minorities) do not generally play well with Hispanic (self-described minorities). (usually the rub comes when one of the other group poaches a daughter, sister or friend) The more enlightened (not “educated”) of both groups are above “group think” that hobbles both.
