First the good news: America is the 22nd least corrupt country in the world, according to a new survey from Transparency.
Now the bad news: America's score on the corruption index fell from from 7.5 to 7.1 -- among the largest declines in the world.
Only three countries posted larger declines in 2010. Dominica dropped seven decimal points to 5.2. Cuba dropped seven decimal points to 3.7. Burkina Faso dropped six decimal points to 3.1.

There is a simple solution to it. Reduce the size of government.
global corruption bump for later............
I'll second that motion.
Increase two things:
Ron Paul's subcommittee - audit the fed.
The military..I think we may need it.
Scrap almost everything else....
Response: No suprise in that "Our Diversity Is Our Strength" involves America turning into a Third World sewer!
Enforce the immigration laws.
Our government has a good deal of Kleptocracy: government by stealing and corruption.
I don’t suppose anyone asked them how they determine corruption?
The trouble is that the word “corruption” has been extended to mean things that do not involve bribery, as such. The Democrats have been serious offenders in this, calling Republicans “corrupt” over holding different views on policy issues.
In fact, virtually everything Republicans advocate that is opposed to what the Democrat want, or even *different* from what they want, they label as “corrupt”. But at the same time, when Democrats commit offenses easily labeled in the traditional sense as “corrupt”, they rationalize that corrupt behavior as not being corrupt.
So is that, in itself, being corrupt? Republicans could argue that someone like Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid, Bill Clinton, etc., are terribly, terribly corrupt, but Democrats would dispute the most blatant criminal acts by their kind as being in any way corrupt.
Gosh! Let me think what has been different for almost 2 years... still thinking really hard... Democratic control of all 3 branches of government? No, that can’t be it!

It’s beyond kleptomania.
What we have is a Kakocracy - rule by the worst of us.

Corruption Is Increasing Faster In America Than Anywhere Except Cuba, Dominica And Burkina Faso and the Vatican Bank
I confess that I have not asked them. Until I read the Business Insider article it never even occurred to me any corruption was going on. Not here anyway. I've never heard of Burkina Faso but it just sounds corrupt.
Business Insider is probably corrupt too.
BI IMO, appears to be part of the leftist orbit and big supporters of crooks on wall street and the US Left
The more that government agencies must be consulted in order to get things done, the more corruption there must be.

Interesting, but I can’t find kakocracy in the dictionary.
That’s because it isn’t widely used, yet.
Kakocracy - “rule by the worst of us”; is made up from two Greek words:
kakos (n) bad, evil
kratei (n) to be strong, to rule
The latter is the same word that gives us the “cracy” in bureaucracy, democracy, etc.
We just need to start using it and get others to use it and voila - dictionary entry!
Good luck with your verbal venture, there.
