A bomb requires the explosive, a detonator & a power supply/switch.
The explosive alone is not enough. Someone needs to test the scanner in a more realistic scenario—all 4 parts of a bomb. See if it picks up any of the essential components.
It would seem that both the right and the left agree that the TSA and all this security theatre are a joke, and a waste of money.
On 9/11, airlines learned to reinforce cockpit doors, and the public learned to stand and fight. That should have been the end of it.
With so few issues that right and left agree on, itd be nice to see everyone working together to get this abolished.
Worth repeating, as this is something I've been saying for years. The other obvious thing to do was arm the flight crew and/or passengers. But of course, that can't be done because it wouldn't increase the power of big government.
And who, exactly, is the enemy?
If they didn't, they certainly do now.
