Now Americans,

If the GOP backs of on their promise that it would take no changes, it would be Political Suicide don´t you think?

If it happens, no conservative would ever vote GOP.

If it’s gonna be like this, let it be NO.

Although I was very much in favor of the original proposal.

Yep, exactly about the unemployment. 99 weeks is to much already. Another 13 months is criminal. My hubby says after 6 months or so the unemployment check should start going down. Something like a 1/4 then after a few months to 1/2 and so on. I've heard that 1/3 of people on unemployment will just wait it out until they can't get it anymore. And I agree about community service. There's no good reason they shouldn't.

They say this bill will really hurt small businesses. They've already seen there unemployed taxes(insurance?) go up about double in cost. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

There's lots more they've tacked onto this bill besides the unemployment. I just read it's almost a trillion more dollars in spending. This is totally insane.

“Let’s us not forget that Sen. Mitch McConnel the Republican leader in the US Senate was the broker of this fine deal!”

Wrong. The Christmas tree of goodies for lobbyists and lawmakers is mostly being added to the original compromise to get Democrats to support it.

Those of us with Republican Congressmen and/or Senators need to contact them and urge them to oppose the compromise unless all the extra goodies are taken out.

Yep, exactly about the unemployment. 99 weeks is to much already. Another 13 months is criminal.

The compromise does not include more unemployment compensation for people who have collected it for 99 weeks. It is other folks (folks unemployed for much less time) that will be covered by the compromise. The stuff that is being added to the compromise to buy Democrat votes is sufficient reason to urge our Congressmen to oppose the whole, stinking thing, but more unemployment compensation for the 99 weekers is not part of the bill.

That’s about as clear as mud. Typical of these politicians who keep heaping up more debt on the taxpayers head.

It makes NO difference what voters do every 2 years. We’ll continue to have theft, thuggery and breathtaking criminal arrogance in DC until TERM LIMITS are enacted and politicians are threatened with far more than prison or expulsion for betraying the Constitution and the people.

To do so, the federal government must collect MORE in taxes than the Congress spends.

Then the ONLY solution is to spend less and CUT taxes. Attempting to collect more through higher tax rates results in LESS revenue. Cutting tax rates on this side of the bell curve results in MORE revenue.

No it’s a combination of new spending and imaginary lost revenue. Look it up.

Ensign is already against it and well, you know who the other Senetor is here.

Shelly Berkely is my rep....nuff said.

Both Houses should be shut down until afer the first of the year so we don't have to put up with this lame duck crap.
