I hope he recovers but does not return to duty.
His situation sounds as if he may have had a heart attack, but his career shows that to be impossible since to have a heart attack requires one to have a heart.

La Grande Hillary surely will be pleased if Holbrooke is forced into retirement. It’s no secret that this guy is both a “bull in the china shop” and a bully — as well as a rival to Mme Clinton and her Foggy Bottom bureaucracy.
