What is shocking in my TiVo DVR usage is how I effectively do NOT record any scripted dramas or comedies on TV nowadays. Indeed, the ONLY reason why NBC's 30 Rock is still on the air is the fact that two places--the borough of Manhattan in New York City and the western half of Los Angeles--love this show.

I've looked at what I currently record and it's mostly sports-related talk shows (ESPN's First Take, SportsNation, Around the Horn, and Pardon the Interruption) and a few documentary series (MythBusters and sometimes new episodes of Modern Marvels).

Small wonder why advertisers are now clamoring to get onto Google's AdMob and Apple's iAd mobile device advertising systems.

The only thing i usually ever DVR is old Star Trek episodes lol.
I do have 6 Walking Deads on there that i gotta watch soon.

I’m able to watch Netflix on-demand on my tv through my PS3 and just discovered recently that they have TONS of great documentaries on there.
When i rarely do watch tv nowadays thats pretty much what i watch.
It’s just the two of us here so I’m ditching cable tv real soon.....

I Will sit and watch Hells kitchen once a week with the missus though.
What a pathetic crew Chef Ramsey has on his show this season, sheesh.
