They’re shutting down head shops in the Tampa Bay area that sell “K2,” which I believe is salvia or a derivative. It’s been selling like crazy, and people get high on it quite often.
Having been a pot smoker in the past, I think I would prefer to stick with the illegal stuff. Who finds these drugs anyway? Do hippies go into the forests of Costa Rica with a bong and just pick, pack, and fire it up to see if it gets them high?

yes
The military has banned its use as well, and a number of the cities we represent are drafting ordinances to control it. Not sure what I think.

Now there's some advice that only an 'experienced' mentor could offer, especially to those impressionable teens!

My (information) sources tell me K2 is a synthetic cannabanoid... i.e., pot-like.

We order Melissa Essential Oil which is "an investment," but works like a charm for vertigo and angst, etc., and we also have tons of Lemon Balm growing naturally (it's downright invasive almost) in our yard, and I thought we could put it to good use, as long as it wasn't detrimental in any way (other than the obvious smoke-in-the-lungs). I could only find one article online about it, and it mentioned it was legal to smoke, but that it would be harsh on the throat, and should be mixed.
Why buy this stuff when there’s perfectly good Jimson Weed growing in the ditch?
