A Chicago woman is suing McDonald's after she said an employee at a West Side location would not sell her a cheeseburger, then refused to make her a ham, egg and cheese bagel, and finally spit in her face.
Sarah Thienes had pulled up in a taxi at the McDonald's at 23 N. Western Ave. early one morning last December to buy a cheeseburger, according to the lawsuit filed Wednesday in Cook County Circuit Court.

I’ll bet the employee is disenfranchised Amish.
She took a taxi to McDonald’s?
How is this, in any way, McDonald’s fault? The lady should just file assault charges against the employee. But, then again, she wouldn’t get any money if she did that.
I hope she wasn’t called a McBitch.
Well, usually they spit in the food before they serve it so this is an upgrade.
2 All Beef Patties
SPITTLE sauce, Lettuce, Cheese
Pickles, onions on a seasame seed bun!
Taxi on Western Ave? Code: minority takes cab to MxDonald’s while breakfast is being served. DEMANDS a cheeseburger and doesn’t get it. Gets massively offensive.
Did an employee spit in her face? Perhaps. But my cousin owns 2 MxDonald’s and told me that the fraud by consumers AGAINST
MxDonalds is crazy. E.g., a woman brings a crying kid with a broken arm and goes directly to the playground and then sues MxDonalds (despite being seen bringing the kid with the arm broken in her car). Etc. Etc. Etc.
Day before yesterday, I went to Walmart and was looking for something in the office supply area. Couldn’t find it and wanted to ask if it was maybe somewhere else in the store. There wasn’t anyone around so I walked to the photo developing area and asked the lady behind the counter “Is there someone that could help me in the office supply area?”
“No Ma’am.” she replied, without looking up and without stopping what she was doing.
I just walked away. By the time I got to the door, I was laughing so hard!
Customer service is truly a thing of the past.
Disgusting hygeine and food handling practices.
I greatly tipped a waitress at Hooters who accidentally put her breasts in my face...
Boy these fast food employees are getting to be thugs..They must not like their job very much..here is another one ..

I think that woman deserve a few million dollars for that assault
“She took a taxi to McDonalds?”
I live in a smaller city and see many people doubling or tripling up in a cab to run errands. They don’t own cars and the suburban sprawl, absurd bus routes and lack of sidewalks makes walking impractical.
Must not have been the Hooters “WingsDay” promotion. :-)
It’s not hard to figure out what happened if you read the entire story and put a couple of things together.
(1) She went through the drive through at 3:50 AM in a taxi. The story does not say she was the taxi driver—it appears more likely she was the passenger.
(2) She ordered something not available (they were only ser ving breakfast at the time). The employee is “surley” at her (through the drive through speaker).
(3) So she orders breakfast, but once again orders something not on the menu. The employee is yelling at her (through the drive through speaker).
(4) On her third try, she finally orders something on the menu.
(5) She pulls up, the employee screams at her, and spits in her face.
Reading between the lines: she was drunk and taking a taxi home. She tells the taxi driver to pull through McDonalds so she can get some food. She is so drunk that she and the employee can barley communicate through the speaker, so the employee starts to speak as loudly as they can to help her hear. She takes this as yelling at her, and tells the employee off (probably starting with “I don’t care what time it is, I want a cheesburger”). When she gets to the window, the employee then tells her off.
LOL! Good one.
Customer service is truly a thing of the past.
The reason Sears fell on hard times is that its model was based on outstanding customer service. When discoutners like K-Mart came along (that offered lower prices with no customer service) customers abandoned Sears for the lower prices.
You can have cheap prices or good customer service, but not both. Pick one, and quit complaining about not getting the other.
That being said the Wal mart I worked in, if you did ask someone at the photo booth for help they would have helped or paged someone to come to the photo booth for customer assistance. Of course that was 10 years ago also.
