Similar accident happened to me in 2001.
A truckful of illegals was driving on the highway with lumber stacked in the rear bed angled over the pick-up cab and unsecured.
Needless to say, wind got beneath the lumber, coolers, tarps, and tools to launch everything into the air at 65 m.p.h.
Vehicles were skidding wildly as their debris littered the entire roadway. Three other cars crashed into each other with one totaled. Mine had the least damage with only a hood smashed by a flying toolbox.

The driver produced what (later) turned out to be a fraudulent DL, fake insurance card, stolen plates, plus phony vehicle registration. My vehicle's bodywork was going to be about $1000 and I had a $500 deductible. It wasn't worth it to make the accident claim. When I appealed to the State Police for help, they simply advised they had been hoodwinked at the accident site and there was nothing they could do about it.

Illegal immigrants are totally harmless and just here to work. Yeah, right.

Look at the accident a few years ago in California (major pile-up, with fire/fatalities, I believe in a tunnel). When the police responded there was more vehicles than drivers; multiple drivers had fled the scene...
