Is it conceivable that the coming caucus might not force a vote and elect someone else, once her voting bloc is gone?

It's unlikely. After all, the 63 DEmocrat Congressmen who will be MIA come January were mostly of the moderate/"blue dog" stripe.

On balance, the election results tended to make the Democrat caucus in the House even more radical than it was.

Recall that, when she announced her intention not to step down, Pelosi remarked that she believed her calling was "to keep the President from giving it all away".

Consequently, expect the Democrat caucus to continue to act like a bunch of malignant spoiled children for the next two years.
