To those who oppose Wikileaks, I ask the following: would Congress or the imperial presidency ever expose this information?

To those who support Wikileaks, I ask the following: how many good dead men is this worth to you? Did you not already know islam was like this?

So Wikileaks got one right. Still doesn’t make up for everything else.

By the way there was thread posted like this one 2 days ago that vanished without a trace. Seems someone doesn’t like the fact that our PMCs are being shown for what they really are. Mercenary Scum. I’m just saying.

Other than the one diplomat’s concern. What evidence is there that DynCorp really did this?

If Dyncorp did this, it should come to light and the appropriate people be punished. But if it’s an unfounded allegation with no evidence, then maybe the govt was right to bury it.

For Pashtuns in the South of Afghanistan, there is no shame in having a little boy lover; on the contrary, it is a matter of pride. Those who can afford the most attractive boy are the players in their world, the OG's of places like Kandahar and Khost. On the Frontline video, ridiculously macho warrior guys brag about their young boyfriends utterly without shame.

So, WHY are we helping these people save their country and thier 'culture'?

...this isn't DynCorp's first brush with the sex-slavery game. Back in Bosnia in 1999, US policewoman Kathryn Bolkovac was fired from DynCorp after blowing the whistle on a sex-slave ring operating on one of our bases there....

So, WHY are the managers and employees of DynCorp allowed to continue to live on the taxpayers' dime? Or, alternatively, why are they allowed to LIVE at all?

Isn’t this cultural imperialism? What right do we have to impose our standards on the noble Afghan people? These practices go waaay back.

Wow- that’s an eye-opener.

I have mixed thoughts on Wikileaks. I tend to believe it’s better the public be informed of the facts- too much goes on behind closed doors in our government that feeds on our human frailties, desires and flaws- some fresh air blowing through is a good idea.

It’s also true that all groups, whether large or small have a reasonable desire to keep confidential information private.

The dance between freedom and individual/groups privacy rights is a fascinating one- and we’re watching it play out before us.

How in the h*ll do elite corps like ex-berets promote this type of activity? Where is the honor? This is shameful.

Given the sheer volume of information being exposed by Wikileaks, it's inevitable that some things will be exposed that really should be exposed. So what do you think should happen to Pvt. Bradley Manning? Do you believe he should be given a Medal of Honor? I think he should be executed.

Afghan Muslims have enslaved little boys for sex ever since they converted to Islam. It’s a Mohammedan thing.

And if they were stoned, it was on their own opium or heroin, grown in the poppy fields of Afghanistan.

I doubt very much if the military contractor had anything to do with this—except that they were training these goat lovers, and found it impossible to stop them from indulging in their usual customs.
